Mr. Peabo Bryson is a two-time Grammy Award winner whose legendary artistry has inspired audiences worldwide for decades. Mr. Bryson is the recipient of Grammy Awards for “A Whole New World (Aladdin’s Theme)” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Mr. Bryson and his band will perform a full concert in Huntsville, Alabama, at the Orion Amphitheater on April 19, 2026, in support of Rising South’s mission.

 
Before Mr. Bryson’s performance, local artists and student performers will take the stage, including a signature musical presentation titled “From Hidden to Crowned: A Whole New World,” which depicts the journey from pain to purpose and triumph over violence.
Through this project, Rising South Literacy School invites the entire community—students, educators, artists, and families—to take part in building a culture of peace, literacy, and collective pride.

 The Rising South Literacy School is committed to bringing awareness and solutions to community violence. We use art and culture to impact change. Mr. Peabo Bryson is scheduled to perform a live concert at the Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Alabama, on April 19, 2026.  It will be a small, intimate, up-close-and-personal full concert with just a few hundred tickets available. All tickets, sponsorships, Souvenir Book purchases, booth rentals, etc., will further our community efforts.  Students: Scholarships and internships are available.
